Make a turn to the left and then go right

Size A3 - 42cm x 29.7cm This ZIA was to large for the scanner so I had to take a photo. The weather is cooling down here in Tassie so we have started lighting the fire of a night, I have been settling in with an A3 size pad and enjoying twists, turns, tweaks, and curves.

Concentration

The middle section is out of Sandy Bartholomew's 'Yoga for your Brain'. It is worth having a ago, it gives the brain a stretch and a good workout!

Potholes

We have a long gravel driveway to our house and Paul my handyman husband loves grading it with his tractor so after the rain this week he was off and smoothing out the potholes.

Walking the line

The Diva's Challenge #14 is 'I walk the line'! Don't turn a curve or swing a bend. Square off those circles and follow the straight line...no wine tonight!!! How can I swirl this one?

Equipment!

Quip is a new tangle from Sandy Bartholomew's 'Yoga for your Brain' but I turned it into a swirl and now it looks like some sort of tickle equipment!

My Dingus is sprouting Artoos!

Thanks for the chuckle Margaret!
The thing in the middle didn't have a name and I remembered Margaret had left her verification word dingus with her last comment. I thought does this thing look like a dingus? So I Googled it to see if a dingus was something and yes it's a watchamacalit, an article whose name is unkown. It comes from the German word dinges meaning thing.
So I hope you like my dingus!

Non-Dominatrix

The Diva's weekly challenge #13 has really tested my left hand. With wild abandon I had to throw caution and safe strokes to the wind. After a tight start I gradually relaxed and my non-dominant hand settled into a wistful flow!

4 tiles, 4 tangles, same string

Basic tangling is so relaxing. I have drawn the same string and same 4 tangles - Bales, Yincut, Purk and Nzeppel but in different sections.

Something blue

The Diva's challenge #12 this week is to add a touch of blue. 1st off I thought of blue (crescent) moon and I love fresh blue gingham and then why not add blue unyun for a bit of spice.

Thank you!

365 days, 383 Zentangle posts!

Creating a Zentangle is a surprising process, I am sure many of us experience different feelings. To me it's about stopping to breathe with thought, taking time to form deliberate strokes but choose to feel free in the moment but I think most of all it's been about appreciation!

I value the time put aside each day to tangle. Grateful for all the unexpected, inspiring and thoughtful comments. Thankful for the beautiful new friendships from across the world.
I appreciate this wonderful Zentangle method of creating art which appears like magic! My daily ritual has taught me not to be concerned about making a mistake or worried about what's right or wrong, quite often I actually hear myself saying "Oh, it doesn't matter!" What may be a mishap to me might be quite okay to someone else.
I feel that drawing in the Zentangle style has helped me be more calm, flexible and realise everything will turn out right in the end.

All of us are at different stages in our lives and it's easy to be judgmental at what we should or could be doing but I find in the world of Zentangle everyone is so positive and kind hearted. Everyday there is something to smile about and enjoy!

Hugs and thank you for following and stopping by my blog! I appreciate you all!

Fifteen minutes

It usually takes me about 30 to 45 minutes to complete a tile but this one only took 15 min.

BeeLine

The Diva's challenge #11 is 'Monotangle'! I really enjoy tangling tiles with one tangle especially using my favourite tangles so I decided to challenge myself with BeeLine which has that fascinating 3D effect! As I gravitate to wavy and swirly lines this one really had me thinking so thanks Laura!
